ABOUT ME

Growing up, I was surrounded by and immersed in the creative services industry. At an early age, I watched as my mom opened and ran her own photography studio. My dad would often help out with all of the videography, graphic design, and IT work that accompanied this small business as well. Throughout my development, I began enhancing my skills in traditional art, photography, videography, animation, graphic design, and social media.

In my junior year of high school, I created a small graphic design business that grew beyond my expectation. Focusing mainly on collegiate word art, AO Designs received a quarter of a million dollars in sales in it's first year. Since then, my family has taken over the business side of things while I invested more time into my education and career.

In 2018, I began attending classes as a full time student of Texas A&M University. It was there that I studied Visualization, a studio centered major that relied heavily on teamwork and leadership in a professional setting. My focus was in animation for film and I learned quite a lot more about the creative services industry in my time there. This knowledge, combined with my passion for film, animation, journalism, event planning, and more, has made me a very valuable asset to any creative team.

After graduating college in the post-pandemic climate of 2021, I shifted my focus to pursue certain passions and hobbies of mine including journalism and social media content creation. I created a social media blog called Woo Bucket that showcased out of the box date ideas and experiences to a fast growing audience. The virality of this blog even garnered some media attention which led to published photographs, brand deals, and even a TV interview.

I believe it is this creative and entrepreneurial spirit that led me to receive a Videography and Motion Graphics position at Clutch Creative Marketing, a small marketing firm located in Dallas, TX. In my time at Clutch, I provided quality time based promotional content to a variety of different brands. I was involved in every aspect of the creation process from shoot planning and writing to storyboarding and animating/editing.

All in all,  I believe my career in the creative services industry is just getting started. I am committed, driven, and persistent. I believe it is these three qualities that will get me to where I am meant to be in my career and in my life.
