PHOTOGRAPHY
As the child of a photographer turned yearbook/journalism teacher, I have grown up around photography. I learned how to handle a camera at a very early age and, in high school, learned the basics of photo editing programs such as Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom. I have also taken a number of photography classes in college. It was there where I refined my skills and learned about the many different applications of photography.
On this page, you will find a number of different types of photography from macro and abstract photography to portraiture and fine art photography.
Macro Interference
(3/12/21)
This photograph was taken of a bubble using a macro lens. I wanted to capture the interference colors present within the soap bubble against a stark contrasting background in order to emphasize the bubble's saturation. The photo was taken under a single soft box light which hovered slightly above the subject. I find the results to feel otherworldly.

Scarlet Sophistication
2/27/21
This is a portraiture that I took in college. The photo was captured with two studio lights, each with different colored gels. This photo was meant to capture vibrant personality of the model as well as her laid back and elegant nature. This was presented through my use of both warm and cool colors present upon the model's body.

Higher Aspirations
9/18/18
I captured this photo outside of my old apartment complex. I think that this photograph is a great example of modern photography as well as architectural photography. It is a very minimalist photograph that showcases the outer facade of a very rigid structure ascending towards the sky.
